Mr. Jinseng YE, famous Peking Opera performance artist, Class A actor of National Peking Opera Company

As a famous Peking Opera artist and National Class A actor of the National Peking Opera Company, he was born in a Peking Opera family and he’s a descendant of the most famous Peking Opera training class, the Fuliancheng Club. He was awarded the Outstanding Performance Award in National Peking Opera Grand Prix for his work Happy Match in the Garden in 1985. He was invited to Hungary for cultural communication by the Ministry of Culture of The People’s Republic of China in 1991, and created Martial Opera combining Chinese Opera with Western Opera for which he won the award, “Best Scriptwriter and Performance” in the International Theatre Festival in 1994 . He was invited to host Peking Opera Concert, with the Washington National Symphony Orchestra, and the Philadelphia Orchestra in 2000. He has been employed as a Guest Professor by the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University until now.
