Ms. Fang WANG was sequentially taught by masters Chuanzhi SHEN, Chuanxiang YAO, Chuanyue NI, Chuanfang ZHANG, Jiqing ZHANG, Zaichun ZHUANG, and so on. As a national cultural celebrity, a talent of “four batches”, and the representative inheritor of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Project (KunquOpera), she enjoys the special allowance of the State Council. She ever won the 12th and 22nd Plum Blossom Award for Chinese Drama, the 12th Wenhua Performance Award, the 24th Shanghai Magnolia Drama Actor Award, and the Kunqu Opera Art Promotion Award awarded by United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Representative works: Kunqu Opera Changshengdian, the Peony Pavilion, The Story of White Rabbit, Xishi, etc; Suzhou Opera Wu Guniang, Huakui Ji, Liu Rushi, Man Tingfang, etc.

Xishi won the Five-Ones Project Award from the Central Propaganda Department. Changshengdian won the Taiwan Golden Bell Award, as well as the Best Traditional Drama Award in Hong Kong International Art Festival. The Kunqu opera film "Zheliuyangguan" she starred was selected to be presented in the 60th Venice International Film Festival and the 28th Hong Kong International Film Festival. She was the deputy of the 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th National People's Congress, and was voted as National Advanced Worker. She is currently member of China Theater Association and the Vice-Chairman of Jiangsu Theater Association.
